Start your day with snorkeling at Punta Hospital, a calm and fish-rich spot ideal for observing marine life.
From there, you head towards Bahia Honda on Bastimentos Island, where you may even spot dolphins along the way. The journey continues through a scenic mangrove channel, home to sloths, caimans, and a variety of tropical birds.
With a local guide, you then explore the jungle on a short guided hike (around 20 minutes), where you can encounter wildlife such as red frogs and sloths.
The highlight of the tour is the visit to the bat cave of Bahia Honda. Equipped with water shoes, you enter the cave and observe bats hanging from the ceiling before walking through shallow freshwater to reach a small natural pool.
After the adventure, you can enjoy an optional local lunch prepared by the community.
