Maya Yoga

Maya Yoga takes place in a jungle setting just steps from the ocean. During class, the sounds of the waves and the surrounding nature become part of the experience, and it is not uncommon to spot sloths or monkeys nearby.

Classes combine Vinyasa Yoga, Classical Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga, together with meditation, breathwork and movement. Jennifer adapts each session to what the body needs in the moment, creating a practice that is both grounding and restorative.

Many classes conclude with a deeply relaxing sound experience, either through a vibrational bowl massage or a full sound bath.

About Jennifer

Jennifer has been practicing yoga since 1997 and continued her studies in Nepal, India and the United States. She now teaches in Bocas del Toro, sharing an approach that brings together movement, meditation and breath.

The Space

In addition to regular yoga classes, Maya Yoga also hosts a variety of wellness and community gatherings. The space has welcomed events such as shamanism seminars, ecstatic dance gatherings and other healing practices.
