Atmosphere

Ohana sits right on the sand, facing a busy surf break where you can watch surfers paddling out and catching waves all day long. The vibe is relaxed and social, especially in the morning and early afternoon, when people stop by for breakfast or coffee with an ocean view. As the day goes on, things get a little more lively, while still keeping that easygoing beach feel.

What to Expect

The menu covers breakfast through dinner, featuring a mix of international dishes, good coffee, and refreshing cold drinks. Many come just as much for the surf views as for the food. A beach volleyball court next door adds a bit of energy without making the space feel crowded. Live music takes place regularly in the evenings.

Good to Know

Located on the west side of Isla Colón, it’s easy to reach from Bocas Town by taxi or bicycle. The taxi ride takes about 15 minutes and costs around $4 per person. By bike, it’s roughly 25 minutes along a flat route, which many people combine with a walk along the beach. Mornings and late afternoons tend to be the busiest times.
