It stretches out above the water with hammocks, a large dining table and plenty of space to sit with a coffee, read a book or watch what is happening in the bay. The free kayaks usually don't stay unused for long.

Big Creek works well if you want quick access to both town and the beaches without staying in the middle of everything. Restaurants and beach bars are close by, and getting into Bocas Town only takes a few minutes.

The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and come with private bathrooms, while guests share a kitchen that is exceptionally clean and well equipped. There are three different room layouts: one room with two double beds, one with a double bed and a bunk bed, and one with a single double bed. It's worth checking the individual listings before booking to find the setup that suits your group.

Dolphins occasionally pass through the bay, while monkeys, toucans and sloths are regular visitors in this part of the island. Most evenings naturally drift back to the terrace once the day winds down.
