The workshop begins at the finca and follows a guided walk through a flat one-hectare property with well-maintained paths. From there, the experience moves through different parts of the farm, with stops to look at tropical herbs, fruit trees, and useful plants grown in an agroforestry system.

Along the way, you touch, smell, taste, and examine plants while learning where they come from, how they grow, and how they are used. One of the main themes is the coconut palm, with a closer look at its life cycle, harvesting, and everyday uses in the tropics. The route also passes mosaic artworks made from glass and ceramics, integrated into the landscape in a way that gives the finca a more personal character.

The tasting is a central part of the experience. Depending on the season, it usually includes 10 to 15 tropical and less common fruits, some of which are rarely seen in shops. There is also an introduction to cacao processing, followed by a tasting of locally made Panamanian chocolate. The workshop usually ends in a stained-glass gazebo by the pond, where the pace slows down and the tasting continues in a more relaxed setting.

The overall format is practical and informal, with more focus on direct experience than on a lecture-style tour. Since the fruit tasting depends on what is ripe, the experience can vary from one visit to another.
