Iguanito runs out of a four-room hotel near the center of town, with dinner served on a cozy terrace. Juan cooks while Chris hosts, often greeting guests with a welcome drink and talking through the menu — he's known locally for his travel tips on Central America almost as much as his cooking.
The menu is small and changes often, but expect Spanish-style tapas, Thai curries, and whatever seafood came in that day, plus solid vegetarian options. There's a proper wine and cocktail list too, which is rare for a place this size in Santa Catalina. Breakfast, for hotel guests, gets its own praise.
Reserve ahead — it's a small kitchen and fills fast, especially in March (high season). Prices sit a notch above the rest of town, closer to what you'd pay at a good restaurant back home, but the quality backs it up.
