Good food runs all day at Nativo, but evenings are really about the pool deck and the sunset — plenty of people just come for a drink, since it's clearly one of the best sunset spots in Santa Catalina. Saturdays bring a techno night, one of the few real parties in town.

Atmosphere
Nativo is a beautiful and calm, easy place to spend the day — a great view over the water and nothing rushed about it. But the evenings are when it really comes alive: the sunsets here are something else, usually with good music playing, and that's when outside visitors start showing up alongside hotel guests to catch it.
What to Expect
Breakfast gets the most consistent praise on the food side, while dinner is solid without being a culinary highlight. The bigger draw for many is the bar: sunset cocktails on the pool deck, and a weekly techno night that turns the hotel into one of Santa Catalina's few proper nightlife stops.
Good to Know
Come for the pool, the sunset, and — on techno night — the party; the kitchen is a pleasant bonus rather than the main event. Check locally for the current techno night schedule.
