Spend the day with women from the San Cristobal community, learning about the use of medicinal plants during a guided jungle walk of around 2 hours.
You’ll discover how local plants are used for healing and everyday life, gaining insight into traditional knowledge passed down through generations.
While you are exploring, a typical local meal is prepared for you, which you will enjoy together in the village.
In the afternoon, the experience continues with a hands-on introduction to traditional crafts, where the women show how they create fabrics from natural fibers and prepare natural dyes. You can actively participate and learn directly from them.
The tour is led by a trilingual guide, ensuring a deeper understanding of the culture and practices.
This experience usually takes place on Fridays, but can also be arranged on other days with prior reservation (minimum 5 people).
A rare opportunity to learn directly from local women — this experience is about sharing knowledge, culture, and traditions, not just observing.
